False Body Images and Objectification of Women

This women speaks the truth and it is sad how after 40 years things have only gotten worse....Why is it that women don't open their eyes and realise that the images they see on the television is not the truth and that killing themselves and making themselves unhappy in order to become something or someone that is not even real.

We should embrace ourselves and not to be objectified.

Summer time and you Have Big Calves

The sun is out and here in England you really have to cherish every single moment of it. But when spring and summer comes the jumpers, jackets and scarfs are not really appropriate to wear. Last year at the end of summer like I have said in my previous posts I went on my first real diet and for 5 months I ate less calories and I exercised and lost weight…I wanted to be able to wear shorts, shirts and all these nice clothes for summer time.

But I gave up because I was misereble and I realised that I was beautiful the way I am and that this is the body I have and I will always have this body. Anyways, I was on the bus one day and It was around the time when school children would come out and I saw this girl, she looked on the chubby side, like me. But she was wearing a shirt with tights and her legs looked good, she pulled it off. That made me think of when I was in highschool and I wore a skirt with black tights and I was very conscious about how I looked and what people would say but looking back at it I actually looked….(dare I say it) Good.

So today I went to town and I bought some black tights. I came home and I tried them on with the skirts I bought last year but I have never worn them, how many of us buy something but we never wear it. Sad. Anyways, I tried the skirts on and they really looked better with tights than leggings. But then I tried a brown pair of shorts that I got last year on holiday. They looked nice and my calves looked good. I didn’t even feel conscious at my calves or felt that they were big like I feel when I wear leggings.

I think that leggings make a person calve’s look bigger…expercially when their big already. I see it all the time, overweight girls who wear leggings and they just make their calves look even bigger than they are and this is the same with me…for two years I have worn them with dresses…but I felt so uncomfortable in them…Leggings do look amazing to those that are skinny but for the big girls….I would try tights…even though tights do ladder and leggings can last a person a long time I still think that tights will definelty make you look and feel good.

Soon I might become brave enough to get patterned tights.

Since the sun is out I am going to wear shorts, skirts and dresses and I know I will feel good doing it…I am so happy with my body and clothes…It might take me an extra ten minutes to find clothes that match and go well with my body frame but when I do I feel good about it. I am more open to wearing clothes that have short sleeves, clothes that are shorts, skirts, jeggings…Last year I never did any of that…I wore jeans all the time. I just hid my body and hiding your body with loads of big jumpers and baggy jeans most of the time doesn’t even make people look good. You know!

Chris Brown- F.A.M.E - Review

RATE: ★★★★
Songs: 18
Artist: Chris Brown

I wasn't really quite sure if I wanted to spend my money on this album but I liked deuces and yeah 3x so I thought let me go into HMV and see how many songs are there. If there were 9 songs, I wasn't going to buy the album. So I find it at the front of the store and there 18 songs and the cover looks really good. So I buy the album and I am glad I did.

1. Deuces - Brown, Chris & Tyga/Kevin McCall- I luv this song, no matter how many times I hear it, but I think it is a song that was well written and many people can relate to it.

2. Up 2 You - Brown, Chris- One of my favourite songs in this album, makes your heart melt...It's an Rnb slow jam. The beat, Chris's voice. Amazing.

3. No BS - Brown, Chris & Kevin McCall- This was also on two of his mixtapes and it was one of my favourites. Bedroom slow jam, really hot and it just flows perfectly.

4. Look At Me Now - Brown, Chris & Lil' Wayne/Busta Rhymes- This is the official second single from the album and it's hip hop based but I like the way it is different anything out now. BUT what makes this song is Busta Rhyme's verse. He just kills it.

5. She Ain't You - Brown, Chris - The first time I heard this I remembered the Michael Jackson beat from human nature and I was like no Chris you can't be MJ...like R kelly tried singing you are not alone and it didn't sound good to me but Chris did it completly different and turned it into a completly new song...and I actually started liking it after a second listen and now it's one of my favourites.

6. Say It With Me - Brown, Chris- One of the upbeat and fun songs that just makes you want to dance, I love this song.

7. Yeah 3x - Brown, Chris- First single from this album. This is a fun and catchy pop song that will just have you dancing or jumping, lol.

8. Next To You - Brown, Chris & Justin Bieber- Justin bieber, to be honest I had to turn up the volume and listen clearly to even listen to his voice, very quiet compared to chris brown's voice. The beat and song was very good.

9. All Back - Brown, Chris - A beautiful balled. - Love his voice in this.

10. Wet The Bed - Brown, Chris & Ludacris- One of my favourites, love Ludacris's voice at the beginning and this is also another bedroom rnb slow jam. Amazing.

11. Oh My Love - Brown, Chris- This is another favourite, fast, upbeat....song that will get you shaking your head...The beat is good and at the first listen you will just love it.

12. Should've Kissed You - Brown, Chris- Best song of the album, Slow beautiful song about how he should have kissed that girl...Absolutly stunning.

13. Beautiful People - Brown, Chris & Benny Benassi- I heard this before I got the album and I wasn't really sold on it but now I love it.

14. Bomb - Brown, Chris & Wiz Khalifa- Black and yellow, black and yellow, lol. A solid hip hop song...chris sings though, but the beat is good.

15. Love Them Girls - Brown, Chris & Game- One of the weaker songs of the album.

16. Paper Scissors Rock - Brown, Chris & Timbaland/Big Sean- What can I say, with timbaland on the beats and chris's voice...Instant banger.

17. Beg For It - Brown, Chris- Another bedroom slow jam not as strong as the others but still a good listen.

18. Champion - Brown, Chris & Chipmunk- Peaked to second place on the uk charts and with chris's strong vocals...A good addition for the uk listeners...

All in all I haven't bought an album that was so solid and had a variety of music that was pop, rnb, hip hop, techno...whatever all in one and it was done at a standard that was good. I was really surprised at how good this was but I can't stop listening to it.

I would definetly suggest you get this album, you won't be dissapointed.

Nicki minaj Plays with Dildo On Stage

((I censored the picture))

It is truelly sad when a female artist is reduced to doing things like this live on stage in order to entertain people. What if they were children there?? Then what? Mummy whats that Nicki is holding? I dare to think, sex education at a concert.

It seems like now female artists are more about taking their clothes off and degrading themselves in front of the whole world instead of showcasing their talents, which Nicki has. Imagine all those women that went through hard times so that we could have more rights and be treated with dignity but in this world how can a man look at you as his equal when he see's these women like Rihanna, Lady gaga and more....Showcasing their bodies as if it's a piece of meat instead of something that should be treassured.

What happened to paving the way for the younger generations to come...I wonder what the young ladies growing will want to dress and behave like when they grow up. Who knows... If I was a person and I knew that I had some sort of influence towards millions of young women out there in the world I would try and present myself in a way which gave more women respect but one to it's own, I guess.

Anything to sell ehh GAGA.

Is Breakfast Really Good for you??

Many people including myself believe and think that breakfast is good for you. But now aday when you think of breakfast you think of cereals...All my childhood I used to have kelloges cereals for breakfast before I went to school. When I started college I stopped having breakfast as I wanted to lose weight but even that didn't last long.

Then I started having special K, which is quite expensive for the small amount that comes in it. Even if you do have the 30 grams. Anyways, every time I have these cereals I always feel bad. Are they really that good for you?

This is when I tried out some shreddies and their just the same as weetabix....Imagine that is what you are putting inside you're stomach.

I really want to take care of my body. Not to lose weight or whatever else but just to eat what is right...So many people including me eat things but we don't even have a clue what it is we are eating but we eat it because of how good it looks and the taste...

Imagine if you saw a beautiful island and then you went for a visit but after the first day on that island everything looked, felt perfect so you said I am going to live on that island forever. The plane leaves and there you are living on an island you now nothing about....Every month it could go under water, there could be monkeys and deadly animals on there.....

I don't know what other breakfasts to have, I know I can have eggs but I don't really have time in the morning to be making eggs and oatmeal....Will see.
Right now I will have peppermint tea, Banana and will see how I feel with that....

Rebecca Black- Friday (Worst Song ever)

Ok, so she is autotuned all over this video. The lyrics are really plain and....(Im trying not to be too mean here) I can't with the lyrics. "IT'S FRIDAY, FRIDAY." Really now. The video is a mess. Theres that silly little calender thing which looks really cheap....then she gets ready for school, (which she never goes to)and during takes some zit comes on her face and then she is waiting for a bus but her friends who looked like they were 12 years old were driving....Then...Then some old guy comes out of no-where and started rapping...which was bad to it's own.

She looked so uncomfortable throughout the whole video... This has to be the worst video I have seen in a long time and in a week it has had 10 million views....I don't know if this is good or bad thing...Maybe she is the female version of Justin bieber who knows only time will tell but atleast Justin had talent and could sing..

Thats what makes me sad when anyone can be an artist these days. They don't even need to have talent. Yes, I'm gonna be a singer but I can't sing. You know you're bad if autotune can't even make you sound good.

It's like a surgeon saying...well I don't know anything about medicine or surgery but I am going to do an operation on you anyways....

'Easy A' Movie Review

Rate:★★★★
Length: 1 hour, 28 minutes
Where can I buy: --> Easy A [DVD] [2010]
Age: 15
Genre: Romance, Comedy, Highschool

Yesturday me and some of my friends had a day in where we just watched movies and one of my friends brought two dvd's and one of them was "Easy A."

Pro's- It was really funny and it was different in the sense that it wasn't just a love story were two people hate each other and then they somehow end up loving each other. But it had a good message and the storyline was great. Also Emma stone the lead was good as she played the part very well. It had a romance (Plus, Plus)

One of my favourite parts of the film was this....Peep video below:

Con's- I really can't think of one at the moment; maybe a hunk so stare at would have been a bonus, lol.

Would I recomend it? Yes, it's funny and the storyline is really different from all these other highschool themed movies. I would get it, it's a real laugh.

Adele: An Elegent Rare Talent

She is so beautiful and talented. It is so rare to find a women who's voice speaks for it's self and also ooz's elegance. She doesn't need to get half naked like many of these other female artists now a days but she lets her talent speak for it's self. But also she gives me and I think many women her size the coinfedence to know and believe that they can be as elegent and beautiful and not being a size 2 or skinny. I feel like wearing a dress and a skirt now. Amazing.

Peep her emotional and beautiful live performance at the Brits this year:

Buying a dog Online - Scams

I have been in search of a dog for some time now and I wanted to inform anyone thinking or looking for a dog online about the scams and how to spot they are scams.

1) Location, If you apply to an ad in london and then the person emails you that they have moved to scotland or Isle of man. IT IS A SCAM. NEVER BUY A DOG YOU HAVE NOT SEEN.

Why is it a scam, they will say they have moved so that you can pay to have the dogs delivered to you but in fact nothing will be delivered and your money will be lost.

2) Looks too perfect- They will say the dog has all the health checks done and it is free...they are very smart they will also ask you many questions and say will you send them pictures of the dog so that it seems like they care for the dog...IT IS A SCAM.

3) Sometimes you might find someone actually selling a dog and they actually stay were they said they did. You might visit them but I WOULD ASK TO SEE THE MOTHER OF THE PUPPY BEFORE BUYING because then you won't know what you will be buying. You might be buying a sick dog/puppy that will need medical attention which will cost you a lot of money.

Examine the dog, look at how it reacts when you arrive to visit it, it's stomach size and even it's eyes...

4) If they don't answer your questions even though you answered their questions, this is usually because they copy and paste the same things to many people in search of a dog...I would advise you not to give your number but ask for their number if you would like to make contact outside of the email.

Ain't they cute they will send you cute pictures so that they make you want them even more, don't fall for it...these scammers will have made 100 ads on different websites.

I never thought that it would be so hard to buy a dog and it has convienced me that getting a dog or a pet at this point in my life might cause more disadvantages than advantages. I have tried shelters, charities, which seem to be a scam as well (the one's I found anyways)Breeders are another story....lol. This is to advice others so that they don't fall for these scams, it really does seem too good to be true.

Below are some scam emails:

Maybe it wasn't mean't to be, I will not force anything that is not meant to happen.

Japan Tsunami March 2011

My prayers goes out to those in Japan....Natural disasters unlike many things cannot be controlled by humans...

Jessie J- Who you are album review

RATE: ★★★
Songs: 13
Artist: Jessie J

I remember seeing Jessie J singing do it like a dude a couple of months back and I didn’t like the song at all but after the video started being shown on the television and I gave the song another chance I fell in love with the song and then I heard price tag and I loved that song as well. I also saw a live session on MTV were she performed some songs and then I was like I am going to buy this album.

1) Price tag- Was the second single of the album and Jessie J’s first UK number 1. A decent song, when I first heard it I fell in love with it and let’s say it was on repeat for so long that it started getting annoying. But a good song still.

2) Nobody’s perfect- One of my favourite songs of the album, her voice is amazing. A must listen.

3) Abracadabra- This is an alright song, probably one of the worst in the album…..

4) Big white room- Amazing vocals, it is actually a live recording and it sounds amazing, nice slow song.

5) Casualty of love- One of my favourite songs, it has an RnB feel to it, which I really love. Just amazing.

6) Rainbow- Upbeat song, Jessie J is actually rapping in this, which is alright but it a decent song.

7) Who’s laughing now- The first verse is abit lame but the rest of the song is good. I love how she sings about how people used to put her down but after she becomes famous they start sucking-up to her….

8) Do it like a dude- Amazing song, first single of the album, if you haven’t listened to this were have you been, lol.

9) Mama knows best- I listened to her singing this on Youtube but her voice is good. Decent song at best because of her vocals.

10) L.O.V.E- Another one of my favourites…about love and I really love when they slow it down….and the bridge. Nice RnB song.

11) Stand-up- This has a positive message and it a song you listen to and move your head to.

12) I need this- I was very shocked to hear this song on here, it was on Chris brown’s Graffiti album. Having listened to both versions I still think that Chris brown’s version is better because his voice had more emotion and strength than Jessie’s but a good song still.

13) Who are you- This is amazing- I have to say this is by far the best song in the album. Her voice is mind-blowing in this song. The song is heartfelt and has an amazing message about being who you are no matter what other people say. Just be who you are.

Money well Spent??

In an album with only 13 songs and around 9 songs range from good to amazing, this is great since most artists now a days tend to only have 2 good songs excluding the singles that are decent. I feel like I spend my money wisely and hopefully there will be more albums like this from Jessie J.

Side-note: It was great to see her do different things in this album from live sessions and when she spoke as well.

Things fall apart- Unofficial Trailer starring 50 Cent

Do you remember this picture? It was on every blog, magazine and newspapers. When I first saw it I was shocked because he looked so sick and sad. But this was for a movie role. Trailer is seen below:

At the first 30 seconds I am like ok, it's just another sort off average film about an american footballer but I was almost in tears at the end....The trailer is really emotional and I think I might...just might go and see this...It looks like a powerful film that will really show case what people with cancer go through and it will really tug at your emotions.

This was 50 cents statement to why he took on this role and felt the need to go through such a dramatic weight-loss:

---------------------------------------

“It was inspired by the loss of my friend growing up. One of my best friends that lived across the street from me. He actually died of cancer and that’s what inspired me to write the screenplay. There is no way to portray the experience of losing someone that close to you outside of you investing yourself in the project for real. I kind of went through this thing where I was trying to emulate what he looked like to me at that point and that’s what helped me to continue to lose the weight."

Bowling

This Friday night I went bowling with my friends and at first I was thinking of backing out, making excuses and so forth but then I was like why not, I haven't been bowling in a while.

We went and got out shoes changed, am I the only one who says a shoe size that is smaller than their actual shoe size, lol. But the shoe fit perfectly so that was lucky. It was a lot fun and we shared many jokes with each other. I think I came third and I had zero strikes....sad face.

After bowling we went and had Nandos. I love Nandos, the chicken..hmmmm.

If you haven't been try it.

Dr. Dre ft Eminem and Sklar Grey- I Need a Doctor

I really like this video, I don't think I have a video so thought out in a while. I am not really a Dr.Dre fan but I like the song and this video has just made me like it even more.

Also I would really like to say Sklar Grey has an amazing voice and I really like the chorus on this song. She was also on the chorus and wrote "Im coming home" by Diddy Dirty money.

I will be looking out for her, very talented.

Enjoy.

Pink talks about Christina Aguilera's Arrest

I don't usually like to write about celebrities but I felt I had to voice my thoughts on this.

This is what happened a day ago.

"According to reports , Matthew Rutler (Christina's current boyfriend), was stopped after driving erratically around 2:45am in West Hollywood. The singer Christina was so intoxicated, that she had to be detained because the police didn’t think that she could care or herself."

Then just now Pink tweeted:

What a way to fuel a burning fire. I don't know if it was mean't to be funny or spiteful. I wonder what people would have said if the shoe was in the other foot. Would Pink have laughed?

All I have been hearing is people being very judgemental and if you really think about what actually happened. If she was drunk, who hasn't been drunk, she is a grown women and with her situation I am not surprised and if it was drugs every celebrity does it. She didn't beat up someone, kill or rob a bank but she is being judged as if she had.

I want people to look outside the box and expand the mind frame they are in right now.

Christina's album Bionic as people would say "Flopped," It really underpreformed and when that happens it must be hard for an artist because it's your work out there and people don't like it anymore. Also she is going through a divorce and so a lot of people in that situation will experience stress and it will really affect you emotionally and mentally and also she is a mother. Which is a job and a half to it's own even with all the help I am guessing she is receiving.

Then the super bowl mistake and her career not being as great as it was before. Put all of that together imagine how you would feel. Some people would say she has an ego and all this but she's still a human being and has feelings as well.

I just feel like being bitter and judgemental at celebrities when they make mistakes and do silly things is in a way sad because unconsciously your life isn't fufilled if you have to bring down someone else over the internet. But now adays we do it without even knowing we are doing it. It's just like a sinful voluntary reaction.

"Just think before you say something mean to someone else because you never know what their going through in their lives. "

I am Number Four Movie Review

Rate:★★★★
Length: 1 hour, 44 minutes
Where: Cinema
Age: 12
Genre: Romance, Advanture, Sci-fi, Action

I went to the cinema this weekend that has just gone by and I saw the movie "I am number four."At first I saw the trailer on youtube, it was on the front page and it looked decent but my friend wanted to go and I thought why not...and I will say this, the trailer doesn't do it justice.

Pro's- It had a nice highschool romance. It had a lot of action, they were doing cool tricks and using their powers which was really good. They were also dramatic moments in the movie that made you jump up. Also the movie had some humour in it but it was more from the evil/bad guys in the movie. The bad guys were massive, huge, fish face sort-off people and I thought they really were funny.

Last but not least the story line of the movie was different and interesting, which I really liked because you won't know what is going to happen next.

OHH and let's not forget the hottness...
Con's- I felt like they left us hanging when the film ended and it didn't really finish well, I guess. But I am guessing since it's a book turned into a film maybe they spilt the book into half or they are more books and more films to come.

Would I reccomend it? Yes, if you liked Avator the movie, you will definetly like this.
