Justin Bieber- Mistletoe Official Music Video Review

First of all I am not really a Bieber fan what so ever but I thought I would check out the video and to my surprise it wasn’t bad. The song is different from anything out now….His not doing dance/ techno, it’s not I need to shock everyone….or I need to put some message somehow it’s just a nice, sweet song. I also liked how the lyrics weren’t repetitive and they were actually good lyrics in the song.

Justin does also look grown in this video….he is not cute anymore but some might say his hot!!

The video was nice and it gives you that Christmas feeling, even though we are still in October but I am guessing in November and December we will be hearing this on the radio and on our television screens along with the usually Christmas hits that come back into the charts that time of the year.

Ohh, and it was sooo obvious that somehow he would get her that dress when she was looking at the window.

Peep the video below.

University Life, Tips, Advice and Experiences So Far

University is an experience I tell you. The first thing I will tell anyone going to university is really look into what the course will be about and if you are lucky enough to know someone who has done the course before ask them as many questions as you can because you will have to sit down in a class for 4 hours or more learning about it and if you are really not interested then you will find it very challenging.

I remember I applied through UCAS and then I had to interviews and the first interview that I went to was a university far away from home and everyone was very friendly and I liked the environment and after the interview I waited 5 minutes and then they told me I was in; if I got the grades. This doesn’t always happen, some people don’t even have to go to interviews and for my second interview in a University in my home town I had to wait for a couple months until I was told. I basically decided to go to the University away from home and have the full University experience and to also be able to be independent.

After you have chosen your University and the course and if like me you are away from home you might be scared, worried…..I was like that and I can still remember how I felt, it wasn’t good because I was moving to a new city with new people that I didn’t even know and living with people from all over.

Before going to University

My advice before you University is to do and send everything that they ask for as quickly as possible and also do your student finance quickly because when you start Uni, you will what that money to be there.

Packing
There are things that some people forgot so this list is things you might not think off:

• Hangers
• Washing basket
• Iron (Even though the uni says they have it, they didn’t provide one)
• Toaster (Check if you’re Uni provides one)
• All the wires for ipods, phones, radios or laptops (A must)
• Towels

Ok, you are in Uni now and you might be scared like I was. Also, for me it was probably worse because I had to move in a week early because of my course and there were only 4 people in the whole building and it was quite lonely but I went home that weekend and when I came back there were people and everyone is on their own and they want to make friends so most people will be up for a chat and you really do make friends quite easily.

Tip- I don’t know if this is for every University in England but for my University and others that I have heard about this is usually true. When looking at accommodation I would recommend going with the cheapest/ economy accommodation e.g. mine is 12 people sharing a 2 showers and two bathrooms and a kitchen.

STOP!!

I know what you are thinking 12 people, that’s too much and that’s what I said but firstly, with the showers, I could say I want to shower at any time of the day and I would get a shower because we all shower at different times as we all start and have our lectures during different times. Same with the toilet and there is a cleaner every day.

A great fact about sharing with 12 people or around there is after the first week or so you get to know each other and become really good friends and there are some people who bake cakes and we share quite nicely. Plus for those that like to party and get drunk in the economy or cheapest halls there are many parties and it is lively but if that’s not you’re seen you could socialise in the kitchen. Unlike in the ensuite/ fancy accommodation where there are 6 people sharing and don’t get me wrong people do get along but I know a lot people who only speak to one person and everyone else shuts themselves out and are distant. So you will end up quite lonely and isolated but with somewhat fancy furniture.

Plus a lot of people come from the ensuite accommodations at night to the economy/cheapest accommodations and more people in their second and third years of their course actually choose to come to the cheapest ones because material things are nice when you first see it but as I look at where I am staying I really got a good deal for my money and you save a lot of money as well. But all I am saying is when you are choosing your accommodation don’t just look at the packaging.

So far University has been good and you do get used to it and start to enjoy it and meet people that different from your usual circle. I thought I should share my experience because before I came here I was so worried but if you are hope this helps and it deffo gets better. Also it is a lot of fun but you also need to remember why you are there, for that education and qualification.
