Life update, new job and updating more from now on.

I have been away for a while and I don’t update as much as I used.

Anyways, right now I have a job, I started last week Wednesday and it’s mainly using telephones and I am kind-off not liking it because I feel like I will make too many mistakes and I don’t really enjoy the whole telephone thing but I applied and went to the interview and I actually got the job.

I was excited when I got the job because it’s better than being unemployed and it will a reference from when I got back to university in four months. Wow, four months, that’s not a lot of time. I am just going to suck it up and hope that the time fly’s and that I get a better grip of the job.

One phrase that made me feel a bit better was,

I should be so grateful that I have the job when two million people in the UK, now are unemployed. I was lucky. Plus, when I go to university hopefully, it will help me to get another job quickly, it’s not forever and you have to start at the bottom.

I have had this blog for years but I am going to update with a lot of book reviews and tv reviews and other beauty stuff because I have been slacking.

Job hunting.....I mean real job hunting. Part 1

Unemployed once again and this time it's easier and I have grown from the previous experience. I have been unemployed for two months now.

The unemployment rate in the UK for the youth is almost or around a million. Imagine a million people are jobless like me, that's scary. But from my experience I would say there are people who are really trying to find a job but there isn’t any and then there are those who don't know how to go about finding that job. They don't have a good CV or even a CV and so on and then there are some who just don't want a job. I remember at the job I had there were people who didn't want the job because they had to look after their dog every three hours. Some people were forced by job centre to apply and they were rude and had been unemployed for 11 years and 8 years. That's crazy but that's what I have seen.

Anyways, for me the first part is actually applying properly and regularly. Right now I have sorted different CV's and a cover letters. But I know I need to do more. The thing is in a weird way I expect the jobs to be there waiting for me. Even though I haven't applied for them. But being unemployed sucks, you don't do anything because you don't want to waste money and you feel like a prisoner in your home because you are always at home.

I made a promise to myself that by the end of February I will have a job. I am a beggar and beggars cannot be choosers. I will do anything at this point.

Time will go by and no one is going to knock on my door and say “hey you want a job.” If I try and fail at least I am in there. I might become lucky one of these days. Let these games begin.

90210 - 5x12 Here comes honey Bye Bye Review ((Spoilerss))

Really, really, really......

I don't know where to start. Let's start with what annoys me the most. Teddy and Silver. Silver wants a baby but she has all these health issues and ends up with this being her only chance of actually giving birth. But know Teddy is acting like an Idiot. Really, does he want a child that desperately. Why can't she use her embryo and leave his sperm. Like if this is how they are like before the child is even conceived what are they going to be like after....Seriously, Teddy needs to leave, like go far far away. With that, who was there when he came out. Silver and she does one thing and his acting like an....I don't even have the words.... Let her have her baby with someone else cos Teddy is just too much. I hope she rejects his little contract.

Moving on, Annie, like I knew Riley was dead before he went in for the surgery….it was soooo obvious I was like, oh, went it happened. And with Annie and her track record, it wasn't a surprise. Even when she said "I love you," to him in the hospital, I was like realllyy, you love him now. Lool.

Adrianna and Dixon and this new girl....Honestly, I like Adi again I don't feel sorry Dixon at all now. They should just get back together, they were good like that. How can you love someone so much and yet feel absolutely nothing for them the next minute. I just don't get it.

Liam and his whole post-traumatic stress thing just....I don't know, will see.

Finally, Max and Naomi....Like I love them together....Their just the best couple ever on the show, if you see when they got together and the final of the last season it was amazing and now it's all been taken away. I just feel like since the beginning of this season it's just been downhill for this great couple....sometimes love can have drama. No-one Naomi goes out with will compare to Max, no matter how good looking he is.....It's sad....Really sad.

Can’t anybody on this show ever be happy….

Insurgent Book Review

RATE:★★
Pages:525
Author: Veronica Roth
Published: January 2012

This is the second book in the divergent series. I am not going to do a review for divergent because all I remember is that it is was really good and I loved it. I have just finished this book and it’s still fresh in my mind so I will do a review on that now but will refer back divergent a couple of times…

This is again a dystopian world story but it’s a world were when you turn 16 you choose what faction you want to go into and there are 5 factions. The Dauntless who are fearless and wear black and protect the world and there are the Abnegation who are selfless and believe in helping people and being the same and all that good stuff. Then there are the Candor who cannot lie even if it’s something bad, they just cannot lie. The last two are the Amity who are peaceful and happy and finally there are the erudite who are the clever ones and all they want to do is learn and gain knowledge. Ohh, forgot about the factionless who are those that don’t belong to any faction and that might be by choice or because they failed initiation.

In the first book, Beatrice or Tris, she likes to be called was an abnegation and choose to be dauntless but she is actually a divergent, which means she belongs to more than one faction.

Anyways on to the second book

Pros- I liked Peter in the end, I don’t know why but there was something about his character that I liked and I finished the book, that is something good about this book. Another pro is I got to learn more about the Amity faction and Candor and I think I would choose Amity.

Con’s – Where do I start, lets start with Tris…..In the first book I liked her, she was strong, independent and knew who she was. In this book she was depressed, stupid and was like Bella (even though I liked Bella) I can’t with Tris. What made it worse was that I was in her head. She over analysed everything to the point were you didn’t care. There was one part were she gave herself in to the Erudite because she knew Four would do it instead, how she came to that conclusion I don’t know but she walked into her death bed but then when she was there she wanted to leave. She couldn’t do it anymore….Then why did you go. She just annoyed me, beyond.

Moving on to Four (Tobies) and Tris…Their relationship in this book was let me sum it up

Kissing…………….. Arguing………Kissing……….he touched my back……..arguing………Kissing……..arguing……..he touched my back………….arguing……………..I love you…paragraph….I love you 2.

I don’t know but it gave me nothing….absolutely nothing….I just don’t know what else to say.

Let’s talk about Will…Yes, he was very important some reason….She killed him and she is depressed about it for 500 pages…She keeps it a secret from Four, why, I don’t know since she saw him kill people herself…Then there is Christina who was with him for what two seconds and she act like they were together for 50 years…I didn’t get her relevance at all…It was unnecessary drama and then the girl Tris saves turns out to be Will’s sister….the drama just adds up. Four finds out she lied and they argue….next

One thing I hated about this book was there was too much going on to the point that anything new didn’t faze me. I feel like the author sat down and just wrote anything without planning a plot beforehand…Less is more….Great tip there. There were all these secrets, all these irrelevant character’s and all these relationships and drama and deaths that just made me say Hmm, another one bites the dust…Even with Four and his mother, more secrets and father with beating Four….Like she was doing too much….Like reeeeeally.

Finally, the Erudite, the secret, the war…..DAH  DAH DAH….

What is so special about Divergent, they can change simulations.

That’t it….like I wanted more like they can fly, lol. But everything was simulations, simulation and guess what more simulations. It just bored me abit.
Moving on to the secret, that is what made me finish this book, Marcus was like I can’t tell you, I have to show you. In the end, you think…..hmmm, but you could have told me….very easily you could told me….The secret itself was lame…let me find a better word. It was disappointing like the book. I remember when I finished I read the secret and I finished the book I was like “Are you kidding me.”

Oops, almost forgot about the baddie, I can’t even remember her name but it start with a J, anyways J died, like really easily.. She just got stabbed and I was like….really, she’s gone already, to be fair she a boring bad guy but what now. The third book a new bad guy comes. Hmm, even Eric was better than J and guess what he died too. Don’t get me wrong, I love it when bad guys lose but do you ever wonder why voltanor lasted throughout the whole series of harry potter… like it wouldn’t have been the same if he had died in the first book, just saying.

Would I recommend the book??? No, I wouldn’t. Full stop.

Delirium

This is my first dystopian book that I read and I am glad it was because I really enjoyed it. The story is about a girl who lives in a world were love is bad. Love is what destroyed the old world. So there is this whole thing that when you reach a certain age you have a test and then they will choice who best you will marry and you will have a surgery were they will make you not love or have emotions. (That’s what I can remember)

Pros- Of course there was a romance and not to spoil a lot she falls in love….shocker,lol. Anyways, she falls in love with Alex who doesn’t quite belong in the society and you see their relationship grow. What I loved about this book was that it was easy to read and get into to it. I could believe a world like that and I liked the characters as well.

Cons- I don’t know, I have read so many books after that I can’t quite remember the negatives but I can say that the ending was a bit lame because it was out of no-where and I have come to realise that I don’t like cliff-hangers in books, period. But apart from that it was a good read.

Would I recommend it??? Yes, if you like abit of love story and are into dystopian or supernatural books.

 (Some Spoilers)

The second book of the series was different and it went from the beginning when she was alone to the part when was back in the society. Then the events happen.

Pros – She falls in love with another guy, shocker….I liked that it happened because in the first book Alex was the teacher and taught her a lot of things and in the second book she had that role when she was with Julian. I have to say that I am swayed more towards Julian and I as a reader fell for him as Lena did. Which was sweet.

Con’s – Again I don’t really remember any con’s, I enjoyed the book and will be buying the third book when it comes out.

Would I recommend it?? If you read the first book, you can be the judge if you want to carry on.

How to get a Job, I have a job.

For a couple of months now I have been looking for a job and with a big fail on it. I had just left university and at first I had it in my head that if I apply the jobs will be just be waiting for me but after a month of applying now and then. I went on the job seekers....I didn't want to go it at first but then I went. My personal advisor was very nice and I went to some course and then I went to jobseekers once every two weeks to sign in. I didn't enjoy signing in but I did it anyways and it was another excuse to get out of the house. I always went shopping or to jobseekers. Now I was applying for jobs every day, doing my cv again and again but I had two problems. One I didn't have that much experience and two my references were a bit of a problem.

So I wanted to do a course and then I failed to pass the tests and I had to see my personal advisor again she sent my CV to someone and then they phoned me three days later. Asked what work experience I was looking for and I said Admin. Then the next day I had an interview for work experience. When I went there the woman was nice and it was an informal interview. There were 4 people interviewing and only 2 got it. I was one of them. After being rejected it was some good news and I started the following week. I had never worked in an office before but it sure was great to do so.

It was an 8 week placement and today was my last day working for free. I have to admit it has been up's and down but mainly up but I did it and this Wednesday I found out I had a job. I was excited and happy. I will be working the full 8 hours a day and getting paid. This will be my first job that I will get paid in and the money is driving me insane. I want to do so much stuff with the money like get a car and start driving. Get an iPhone....and sooo much more. Plus even though I don't like waking up early and I love my days off. I will never forget that feeling of feeling useless that I felt when I was unemployed. Plus, I have gained a skill that will give me an advantage when looking for jobs next time.

I have my first job and it feels so good. Woah!!
