By The Time You Read This By Lola Jaye - Book Review

I haven't done a book review in some time and I am going to make sure that I do review more regularly on here. To sum up this book it's basically about a five year old who loses her dad at that age from cancer I think and he finds out his going to die at the age of 30.So he starts writing her a manual to help her in her life by giving her advice that she might need.

Pro's- I felt like he was giving the advice to me. It was great advice that I will take on in my life. I could also relate to the main character and it was nice see how things went for her and I loved the romance that went on between her and someone else and it was the other factor of the book that I enjoyed. It wasn't a serious book it was more like a relaxed easy to read kind of book.

Con's- Ermm, It would have been nice to see what would have happened at the end a bit more....The ending was rushed and too perfect I guess. Then it was kind of a coincident that the advise her dad wrote was exactly the same as when she needed it. Aside from that the book was a good read.

Would I recommend this book? Yes, it's an easy read kind-off book and it gets you thinking about life and as a parent it probably will get you thinking about maybe writing something for your child if something bad was to happen. And for someone young adults or anyone going through something this is a great book to read that will give you hope. I think.

Desperate Housewives - Final Ever Episode (Some Spoilers)

I can't believe it's over I think they should have gone for two more years but oh well, It's officially over. I can't believe it, honestly, I didn't start watching the show from episode 1, season 1 but I did catch up on season 3 I think and my mind has just been blown ever since. It's just an amazing show that is also funny and well written.

I got to know all the characters and 8 years is a long time. The final season I felt it was all over the place because they had to come up with the best ending ever I guess and that was the problem for the writers. The main storyline I would say was the murder and at the beginning it was interesting but then it kind-off got less interesting. They had done everything else why not get away with murder,lool.

Mike die, which was sad I liked Mike and he should lived until the end but I guess it was a shock factor. But it was rushed and his death could have been done better, I would say. But again they didn't have enough time.

Then Susan's daughter got pregnant with Potter and that was something out of nowhere....they just strung it in there. And then a wedding.....I don't know......a lot new things were going on but you know what they had seven seasons of amazing TV that was on another level and hopefully the writers of the show will come out with something different but at the same entertainment standards that we are used to. The craming of a death, a wedding and a birth in such a short time period is crazy....I think in this situation less would have been more.

The ending was amazing, it was nice and happy. After all they have been through they deserve something that is happy and joyful. I for one was glad when the show in whole ended in a fairytale happy ending.


I will truly miss Desperate Housewives.

 Bree- The classy lady that is not so classy. Hasn't she been through a lot. From her many men....and husbands that have brought us for much entertainment. She will truly be missed.

Gabi, she is probably my favourite housewive, the things she gets up and how she always get into trouble. It's amazing sometimes. Even her and Carlos.....with the cheating and breaking up and getting back together....Then Victor's death. Plus the children switch and the roles being reversed were Gabi is the money making now it's amazing that they have gone through it all and their still going strong.

 Susan, Susan, Susan. She was the good one. We all have that good friend and she was it. But then we had the romance with Mike and then the Stripping....

I am so glad these two ended up together.....honestly, I would believe that they were mean't to be together in real life their love....and struggles were amazing in the whole 8 seasons.....Like they were mean't to be together forever. I love them....One of the best TV couples.

I love her, I loved her in Ugly Betty and sadly that has ended and now this great show has finished. I hope I see Vanessa in another great show because she is a class act. Amazing.

Wretch 32 Live Concert Review

I went to see Wretch 32 this week at Shepherds bush in London and he was amazing. I started liking Wretch 32 with Tractor and my friend gave me his album and it was amazing. I should probably do an album review later on. Amazing album.

Dub step guy? Anyone know who he is?

He was meant to come on at 7pm but he came out at 9.45. Can you believe that,lool. But it was worth the wait. I was standing. Anyways, the first supporting act was Kara I think and she was bad. Honestly, then there was L Marshall who featured in Tractor and he was singing/rapping his own songs and to be honest I couldn't hear what he was saying. It was a mess. Then there was another supporting act who was actually good but he never said he name so I can't find him. A shame, he was actually quite good. He did dub step music and sang and rapped as well.

 Then wretch came out and he was doing the whole MJ sunglasses thing. It was cool. Then he rapped his slow songs but then a girl came out and she was amazing. I think her name is Sherelle....I am not sure...but she could sing. My favourite songs that he performed were forgiveness, tractor, don't go and don't be afraid. That song was hyped and the girl owned the stage I would deffo see her on her own. Amazing.

This was my first rap concert and I am glad it was with Wretch 32. He was hyped and it was organised and entertaining and at the end you could tell it was getting to him. He really appreciated all the people that had come to see him live.

The Vampire Diaries Season 3 Finale (SPOILER)

On a sad note the Vampire diaries has come to a halt with season 3 ending this week. But what a great season this has been. The vampire diaries for me are one of those shows that just blow my mind and so far have just been getting better and better. If you haven't seen the finale then I would press back because this post is just a full of spoilers.

I am going to try to sum up what has happened in the series and my favourite moments. I would have to say the originals were amazing in this season and if we look back at the beginning when Stefan was with Klaus, like that was my favourite Stefan....He was exciting when he was bad. I also loved Klaus and Caroline....more than her and Tyler.

First of all let’s start with the Elena, Damon and Stefan triangle....Honestly,  I like Damon more than Stefan but I like Stefan as well so to me whoever she chooses I wouldn't mind but I am swayed more towards Damon. In this episode they had a lot of flashbacks, which I enjoyed a lot. They were Elena still with Matt and going to school and to a bonfire night the day her parents died.

The most interesting flashback that I have seen like 5 times now is when Damon and Elena meet for the first time and this is before she meets Stefan and she asks him what does he want and he says "You want  love that consumes you, you want passion and adventure and even a little danger." Then he compels her by saying "I want you to get everything that you are looking for but right now I want you to forget everything that has happened, I don't want people to know that I am in town yet." People somehow have it confused that he compelled her to love him. I think that when she was talking to Matt and she said that with Stefan she feels......and with Damon he consumes her but also on the phone with Damon she says “now not always I choose Stefan” and she also says that "Maybe if they had met first, things would have be different."

Another storyline was Klaus, I love Klaus the bad and evil Klaus....he dies and Joseph Morgan played Klaus amazingly and the twist is that Klaus's soul is in Tyler’s body and Tyler is good being Tyler but not Klaus. I’m hoping that his soul will move on into someone else like what happened when Klaus was in Rick's body in the next season. I’m sad about Joseph; let’s hope that somehow his body was saved.

Rick is gone, am I sad? Not really that sad but then again it's another person that Elena has lost. Furthermore, we have Bonnie, she did the right thing saving Klaus because they would all have died, I did find it weird when she wanted to be alone with Klaus's body. But she saved them all and it won't take Elijah that long to find out what happened. At least now we know that Klaus's family actually love him.

The biggest explosion is Elena is now a vampire.....(anyone else get that twilight vibe when Bella turned into a vampire in breaking dawn part 1)....hmmm. I am happy she's a vampire now and this will mean that she will remember everything she might have been compelled to forget like when she met Damon first of all and I don't know if that will be enough to choose him but I think that when he compelled her it might have made Elena more prone to loving Stefan even if he wasn't the one she truly wanted.....I think that's going to be the biggest thing I will be looking forward to seeing in season 4.

Meredith is like the secret hero in this episode because if she hadn't given Elena the vampire blood she would have died and not have come back......Props to Meredith.

Overall, Season three has been amazing and it has been me want to read the books as well. Can't wait for season 4.

College Rejection- Low Point

I feel like a failure right now and I don't know what I am going to do with my life. I had applied to a college to do an access course in maths because I got an A in Maths GCSE. I really did revise hard on everything but I have just come from the college and this is what happened.

They were 5 of us there. I was the only girl there and we had a test for an hour. Then one by one he marked the paper in front of the people and everyone was getting 100% and I got, well lets say, I got below the mark you need to get accepted onto the course. When I learn't about that I just wanted to cry and leave the place. He said other things afterwards but I just couldn't hear him. I felt numb and I still feel like that now. I am in shock right now. Here I was planning this dream life of mine and the reality is it will never happen. My best is just not good enough.

I didn't really think that this would be my 100th post but hey, what can I do. It also makes me wonder if higher education or even university is for me. I don't know anymore, I really don't know. This blow I have really felt it. I just need to forget about this whole thing and move on with my life.

Did I make the right choice leaving? Yes, I can't look at sick or poop the same anymore. But it's really hard right now and I have been getting set backs but maybe the college thing doing Maths wasn't mean't for me. Everything happens for a reason right. I need to listen to some tupac to make myself feel better.

Tupac returns as Hologram at Coachella

Tupac is by far the best rapper I have ever heard and he performed live as a hologram with Snoop Dogg and it was amazing to see. Maybe they could do like a show selling out arena's of his hologram. That would be cool.
