Chris Brown- Don't wake me up Official Music Video Review

When I heard this song on the radio I automatically fell in love it. It's a dance track but it's different and I don't know what I am talking about....But it's just one of those good dance tracks.

The video has just come out and it's thoughtout and somewhat interesting....It does go with the theme of the song....He wakes up or sleeps three times and each time he follows the same girl into a room and they end up somewhere but their both dreaming....It's a mind-f. But it's interesting with some cool dance moves thrown in there as well.

Nicki Minaj- Right By My Side ft Chris Brown (Starring Nas) Review

Out of the Roman Reloaded album this song was probably one of the best songs for me....Chris's voice compliments it and It reminds of the “Your love,” kind off Nicki and I prefer that Nicki Minaj. A surprise was it had Nas and that was pleasant surprise.

The video was cute and it reminded of those Rnb/hip hop music videos in the early 2000's and I loved them. The romance with Nas and Nicki was cute but I love the chemistry between her and Chris. That was cute and Chris looked like the old Chris who is funny and innocent.....I liked it. Nas looked handsome and because their both like huge rappers I felt there was too much hugging and I didn't know if they would kiss or not....And I am not going to spoil it for anyone.....

It was different and simple and It worked.....Props to Nicki. I just think if she had done like her first album and had released Starship, this video, then released the album it would have been better. But hey, what's happened has happened maybe she will learn from this.

Drake - Practice Official Music Video Review

Practice music video has just been released, I got Drake's Take care album and practice was one of the best songs on the album. It's abit on the explicit side but I liked the song, the beat and Drakes voice with it went well together.

I have just seen the video and when I first saw it I thought it was just some random video of a girl dancing to his song and he walked in, not knowing this is a music video. To sum up:

"The video girl with big FAKE bum dancing and at 3:14 drake walks and the dancing stops."

Honestly, she can't dance (or twert as they call it) it's ruined the song a little bit for me and if I was to watch the video I would watch from 3:14 and onwards. Is it original no and yes, I say yes because who has made a video like this so simple yet something that hasn't been officially done by an artist before. The no part is how many video's are there of a girl with a FAKE big bum dancing. It's so unoriginal and bluh. Only guys will like this.....

Madonna Give Me All Your Luvin' (Feat. M.I.A. and Nicki Minaj) Official Music Video Reveiw

Madonna is back and a lot of fans will be excited about the news that she is coming back with new music and just now she has dropped her newest music video give me all you luvin featuring M.I.A and Nicki Minaj.

Honestly, Madonna is a legend and my personal favourites by Madonna are "papa don't preach," "holiday" and "like a prayer."
Now let's talk about "Give me all your luvin," the song is OK, I think for me it's a grower. The video is good. I liked it when they were in white but it was very obvious that a lot of Photoshop was used. Madonna is an aging woman and even with all the technology it showed.
I felt that Nicki Minaj and M.I.A had very short parts, Madonna made sure that this music video was definitely hers and that no one would over shadow her.But I don't think they cared how people get the chance to work with a legend like Madonna.

Olivia - Walk Away Official Music Video Review

I first heard Olivia in Candy shop by G-unit at that time she was the hot new thing, G-Unit's first lady. She was on top of her game....Then she got dropped and honestly from listening to her solo songs. It wasn't great or even good. It was like a worse version of Beyoncé, Rihanna or Ashanti.

However, Olivia didn't give up and no matter how many times things haven't really gone her way she has been trying, which I think is amazing. Then she went on the hit reality show "Love and Hip Hop," which I love.

Now let's talk about this new single, anyone who watches "Love and Hip Hop," has probably heard Olivia sing this live. The song is good compared to her past solo efforts, I actually like this song. I like the lyrics it's not repetitive like a lot of music now, she really took the time to write these meaningful lyrics.

The video has a lot of things going on, it's basically about a woman who gets beat by her boyfriend and she wants to leave him but she doesn't because she loves him. Some people might have hoped for her to leave him but this video is real.  Many people choose to stay in a relationship like that. One does wonder is domestic violence a gimmick to have people to talk about her and her music? Hmmm. Then we have two people dancing in the hallway, then there's Olivia in a street singing with some random dude in the background.

Why is he there??

Anyways, her make-up or lighting was all over the place, one moment she looks like an orange then the next she looks like a vampire. I guess, that’s what happens when you are financing a video from your own pockets.

But this is really the first song I have listened to Olivia and I thought yeah, she is good enough to be classified as a solo singer. I wish her all the luck with the music video and song.

Peep the Video Below:

Although this is a good attempt it reminds me of Eve's "Love is Blind," which to me is more heart felt and more real music video and song than Olivia's.

Nicki Minaj- Stupid Hoe Official Music Video Review

Nicki Minaj just dropped a new video for her second album Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded.

I hadn't heard the song before I saw the video and after listening to the song a few times now it is catching on. When I first saw the video I was shocked and surprised because it was the Nicki I liked. The video is interesting and different and there is a lot of things happening. It reminds me of when I first saw moment 4 life or your love, it's exciting.

I really like the bridge of the song "Stupid hoe is my enermy, stupid hoe is so wack, stupid hoe should have befriended me, she could have probably came back," it sounded like a nursery rhyme, lool. Clearly this whole song was towards LiL Kim and even though I am tired of this beef, I think this video was good. But I can see alot of people hating on this video....

The song gets better the more times you listen to it. Even I have to admit her body looked amazing here, if only I could have that body....

Justin Bieber- Mistletoe Official Music Video Review

First of all I am not really a Bieber fan what so ever but I thought I would check out the video and to my surprise it wasn’t bad. The song is different from anything out now….His not doing dance/ techno, it’s not I need to shock everyone….or I need to put some message somehow it’s just a nice, sweet song. I also liked how the lyrics weren’t repetitive and they were actually good lyrics in the song.

Justin does also look grown in this video….he is not cute anymore but some might say his hot!!

The video was nice and it gives you that Christmas feeling, even though we are still in October but I am guessing in November and December we will be hearing this on the radio and on our television screens along with the usually Christmas hits that come back into the charts that time of the year.

Ohh, and it was sooo obvious that somehow he would get her that dress when she was looking at the window.

Sean Paul - Got 2 Luv U Official Video Review

I have just seen the new video by Sean Paul called Got 2 Luv U Ft. Alexis Jordan. First of all I have been a big fan of Sean Paul when he came out with Like Glue, Get busy, temperature, Breath and so on. He was different and I think he was just being himself and he did music that had reggae and dancehall music but the songs just made you want to dance. He was amazing with slow songs aswell.

Now watching and listening to his new song I feel like his not being himself. The video in a posh hotel room/ nightclub that looks like it's in Vegas with loads of sparkles and girls who really can't dance on top of tables. The song is very catchy in the sense that they probably repeat got 2 luv like a billion times....Half or more of the song it's just got to love yeah...on repeat. The video was like a lot of videos now a days and that's why I think he felt the need to do what was being done now.

“I don't really care what people say, I don't really watch what they do.” - Like Glue

Sean Paul is nearly 40 years old and maybe he wants to keep up with the trend, which explains the silly Mohawk....even the single cover of a phone and the song name in texts…come on it’s like you're mother saying “innit”....then the dance/pop music and the ohh so common nightclub scene with girls dancing around.

Where is the originality, the creativity....Like his music used to have, even if he was talking about getting high...the videos where interesting, the dancing, the reggae feel and the music. He was different from what anyone else was doing. His songs were like you could listen to them ten years from now and you would love it still.

Overall, the song is average at best.

Jennifer Hudson - No One Gonna Love You- Official Music Video Review

Honestly, after dream girls and the first spotlight I had categorised Jennifer as a boring artist...I love Rnb music but now a days Rnb artists are usually really boring and putting out boring music or their doing this pop/dance/ techno music. Unlike a decade or two decades ago when Rnb artists like boyz to men, Whitney Houston and soo much more would make amazing, interesting, powerful music and videos.

But then today I saw Jennifer Hudson’s video, I gave it a try and I was surprised because it had some acting, a bit dancing, a story line...the video was cute and I actually like the song. This is a plus one for J-hud and for Rnb artists...and it also shows you that an artist can be fully dressed and still make a video look good.

Marsha Ambrosius - Late Nights & Early Mornings Official Music Video

I didn't really know who she was and to me she is a new artist but I love her voice on this song and the song is very soulful and sweet, lol. But anyways, the video. I really like the message that this video has and it's something that a lot of artists and the media don't really want to talk about. They would rather glamorous sex, violence instead.

The message in this video is about STI's especially HIV and how not using protection even that one time, that one minute could change your life. You cannot tell if a person has it shoot sometimes people will have it for a long time and not know they have it. Really good message about the reality of having unprotected sex and I hope that this video will make more people think before doing anything they might end up regretting.

Rihanna- Man Down Official Video Review

I have just viewed Rihanna's new video Man down and wow, the beginning when she shoots the man, I didn't think they would show that in the video but they did and I am glad. Then the whole video goes by and it's beautiful and nice. You get to see the easy life and beauty of Jamaica. Then the club scene comes which is followed by the rape, which I think was done amazingly. Like I feel tense and like shocked when I saw it. Her acting skills are there and it really surprised me.

I think she is growing as an artist and this video hits a raw point were the society doesn't like to talk or even see these scenes and would rather be oblivious of them and I am so surprised that Rihanna and her people did a video about this and the song is amazing, my personal favourite from the album and the video was a real surprise, it had a clear story. Like then I think about Beyonce's run this town video and I would actually put Rihanna as the better artist now because Beyonce danced her way on that video but there was no meaning, story or anything but dancing and that got old after a few days but Rihanna's video, it had substance, I guess is the word.

Having a bad day!!!

You know when I woke up this morning I didn't think I would feel the way I feel now, that I would feel so down and you can't shake it off or completly forget about it.

It all started at home were someone was just having their own mood swings and just taking it out on anyone and I could take that and I got ready for my day out for college and that was a mess and it was just a shock at what occured and it made me feel so bad that I just can't deal with certain people anymore.

Then when you are tired from you're day and work and all the BS you get home and then there's someone else who's ready to argue and all that BS. Funny how this ishh always happens on the same day...Always!!

It would have alright if you go to work, college, school whatever and you have a bad day then you come home to loving nice people but if it's both places you have no where to just relax, forget and ease the tention...then what chance did you have. I know it's nothing compared to what other people in world might be going through but I feel down and unhappy right now and maybe I will be able to read this in the future and have memories of the shizz I had to experience.

I will get over it, we all have bad days and you know life isn't easy...but you get on with it.

In tribute to my bad day today, here's Daniel Powter - Bad Day

Beyonce- Run The World (Girls) Official video review

First off I wanna talk about the song...It's not her best...I liked pon de floor but the lyrics on this song im not feeling aswell...I don't know...Even though I don't like the song I think it has a great message that empowers women. That is something Beyonce has always done, she does songs that empower women and not degrade them, e.g. independent women, single ladies, bills bills bills and so on.

But I have just seen the video and it's been on replay...I love the video. The dancing is amazing...I love how she brought a bit of african culture into it...What I love about this is you know she gives it 1000% and her drive and hard-works shows thats why she's still doing her thing to this day...She doesn't need to dye her hair red, kiss a girl or even sing about religion to make her music good...She just shows her talent...People think sells = talent...nooo...No other female artist can touch Beyonce...she's just amazing...

Nicole Scherzinger - Right There ft. 50 Cent Official Music Video

I like the video and the song...It's got this smooth rnb vide to it...Also her body looked amazing...watching things like this makes you want a body like her's...haha so that's how they brainwash us...no jokes. I like the dancing aswell expec..when they slowed it down; the moves are crazy. Also 50 cent...I see what he is doing first down on me then buzzin with mann which I loved...Both fun songs to dance to now this song. I feel like he chooses wisely with his collabo's. Good for him can't wait for a new album because the last one was a fail...enough said, lol. Ohh, I love the clothes she's wearing in this video...their so unique and they look good.

Keyshia coles- Take me Away Official Music Video

Finally, I have found this song, I remember waiting to get picked up one day and then as I was standing there waiting someone in their car started playing this song. At first I didn't pay any attention to it but after some time I found myself singing along to the chorus...I only remembered this part of the song.

"I love my baby, I love my baby, ohhh."

So to my sounding I thought it was Mariah Carey, so I started youtubing and going on google but sadly nothing came up...obviously because I was searching the wrong artist. I even asked my friends about it and no one could recognise the song. But just now 2 months later I saw a link to this song and after taking a listen it hit me that this was the same song I had been searching for.

Funny how things turn out ehh....when you have forgotten about something it suddenly comes up out of nowhere.

Coming home - Diddy Dirty money

This song is number 3 in the uk Itunes and is definitely going to be in the top 5 in the UK official charts this sunday. To me what makes this song so special is the lyrics, especially the chorus.

It has a beautiful meaning and when I hear it I think about home and going there. I have to give it to Diddy, good job. The video is amazing and the singing is wonderful. Aswell the rapping was heartfelt. Diddy is really maturing and growing musically and I might say and I just might buy Last train to Paris album by Diddy Dirty money.
