Olivia - Walk Away Official Music Video Review

I first heard Olivia in Candy shop by G-unit at that time she was the hot new thing, G-Unit's first lady. She was on top of her game....Then she got dropped and honestly from listening to her solo songs. It wasn't great or even good. It was like a worse version of Beyoncé, Rihanna or Ashanti.

However, Olivia didn't give up and no matter how many times things haven't really gone her way she has been trying, which I think is amazing. Then she went on the hit reality show "Love and Hip Hop," which I love.

Now let's talk about this new single, anyone who watches "Love and Hip Hop," has probably heard Olivia sing this live. The song is good compared to her past solo efforts, I actually like this song. I like the lyrics it's not repetitive like a lot of music now, she really took the time to write these meaningful lyrics.

The video has a lot of things going on, it's basically about a woman who gets beat by her boyfriend and she wants to leave him but she doesn't because she loves him. Some people might have hoped for her to leave him but this video is real.  Many people choose to stay in a relationship like that. One does wonder is domestic violence a gimmick to have people to talk about her and her music? Hmmm. Then we have two people dancing in the hallway, then there's Olivia in a street singing with some random dude in the background.

Why is he there??

Anyways, her make-up or lighting was all over the place, one moment she looks like an orange then the next she looks like a vampire. I guess, that’s what happens when you are financing a video from your own pockets.

But this is really the first song I have listened to Olivia and I thought yeah, she is good enough to be classified as a solo singer. I wish her all the luck with the music video and song.

Peep the Video Below:

Although this is a good attempt it reminds me of Eve's "Love is Blind," which to me is more heart felt and more real music video and song than Olivia's.

I like the video and the song...It's got this smooth rnb vide to it...Also her body looked amazing...watching things like this makes you want a body like her's...haha so that's how they brainwash us...no jokes. I like the dancing aswell expec..when they slowed it down; the moves are crazy. Also 50 cent...I see what he is doing first down on me then buzzin with mann which I loved...Both fun songs to dance to now this song. I feel like he chooses wisely with his collabo's. Good for him can't wait for a new album because the last one was a fail...enough said, lol. Ohh, I love the clothes she's wearing in this video...their so unique and they look good.

Things fall apart- Unofficial Trailer starring 50 Cent

Do you remember this picture? It was on every blog, magazine and newspapers. When I first saw it I was shocked because he looked so sick and sad. But this was for a movie role. Trailer is seen below:

At the first 30 seconds I am like ok, it's just another sort off average film about an american footballer but I was almost in tears at the end....The trailer is really emotional and I think I might...just might go and see this...It looks like a powerful film that will really show case what people with cancer go through and it will really tug at your emotions.

This was 50 cents statement to why he took on this role and felt the need to go through such a dramatic weight-loss:

---------------------------------------

“It was inspired by the loss of my friend growing up. One of my best friends that lived across the street from me. He actually died of cancer and that’s what inspired me to write the screenplay. There is no way to portray the experience of losing someone that close to you outside of you investing yourself in the project for real. I kind of went through this thing where I was trying to emulate what he looked like to me at that point and that’s what helped me to continue to lose the weight."
