Chris Brown- Don't wake me up Official Music Video Review

When I heard this song on the radio I automatically fell in love it. It's a dance track but it's different and I don't know what I am talking about....But it's just one of those good dance tracks.

The video has just come out and it's thoughtout and somewhat interesting....It does go with the theme of the song....He wakes up or sleeps three times and each time he follows the same girl into a room and they end up somewhere but their both dreaming....It's a mind-f. But it's interesting with some cool dance moves thrown in there as well.

Chris Brown- Turn up the Music - Official Music Video Review

Since I did the review for the song might as well do the review for the video. Still not a big fan of the song but it will be played a lot at nightclubs.
As for the video I was surprised, I am not going to lie it's actually a good video. It starts off with Chris drinking and then he gets into the taxi. Even though I have mostly given up with his music I still have hope with his acting skills.

Then there is the dancing, which was made to look cool but honestly, he has done all of this before, I don't know if he has a choreographer or not but the flips, the moves and the MJ copy dance moves and style. I have no problem with coping or getting inspiration from Michael Jackson. But Michael Jackson didn't copy anyone. He brought something great to the world, with his style, dance moves and videos. Would he be that great if he had just copied someone else? No and I think that's what will probably keep Chris back because he needs to develop as an artist and have different and unique dance moves, videos and style.

Neither less, I think the video was done very well and I can't fault that.

Olivia - Walk Away Official Music Video Review

I first heard Olivia in Candy shop by G-unit at that time she was the hot new thing, G-Unit's first lady. She was on top of her game....Then she got dropped and honestly from listening to her solo songs. It wasn't great or even good. It was like a worse version of Beyoncé, Rihanna or Ashanti.

However, Olivia didn't give up and no matter how many times things haven't really gone her way she has been trying, which I think is amazing. Then she went on the hit reality show "Love and Hip Hop," which I love.

Now let's talk about this new single, anyone who watches "Love and Hip Hop," has probably heard Olivia sing this live. The song is good compared to her past solo efforts, I actually like this song. I like the lyrics it's not repetitive like a lot of music now, she really took the time to write these meaningful lyrics.

The video has a lot of things going on, it's basically about a woman who gets beat by her boyfriend and she wants to leave him but she doesn't because she loves him. Some people might have hoped for her to leave him but this video is real.  Many people choose to stay in a relationship like that. One does wonder is domestic violence a gimmick to have people to talk about her and her music? Hmmm. Then we have two people dancing in the hallway, then there's Olivia in a street singing with some random dude in the background.

Why is he there??

Anyways, her make-up or lighting was all over the place, one moment she looks like an orange then the next she looks like a vampire. I guess, that’s what happens when you are financing a video from your own pockets.

But this is really the first song I have listened to Olivia and I thought yeah, she is good enough to be classified as a solo singer. I wish her all the luck with the music video and song.

Although this is a good attempt it reminds me of Eve's "Love is Blind," which to me is more heart felt and more real music video and song than Olivia's.

Nicki Minaj- Stupid Hoe Official Music Video Review

Nicki Minaj just dropped a new video for her second album Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded.

I hadn't heard the song before I saw the video and after listening to the song a few times now it is catching on. When I first saw the video I was shocked and surprised because it was the Nicki I liked. The video is interesting and different and there is a lot of things happening. It reminds me of when I first saw moment 4 life or your love, it's exciting.

I really like the bridge of the song "Stupid hoe is my enermy, stupid hoe is so wack, stupid hoe should have befriended me, she could have probably came back," it sounded like a nursery rhyme, lool. Clearly this whole song was towards LiL Kim and even though I am tired of this beef, I think this video was good. But I can see alot of people hating on this video....

The song gets better the more times you listen to it. Even I have to admit her body looked amazing here, if only I could have that body....

Justin Bieber- Mistletoe Official Music Video Review

First of all I am not really a Bieber fan what so ever but I thought I would check out the video and to my surprise it wasn’t bad. The song is different from anything out now….His not doing dance/ techno, it’s not I need to shock everyone….or I need to put some message somehow it’s just a nice, sweet song. I also liked how the lyrics weren’t repetitive and they were actually good lyrics in the song.

Justin does also look grown in this video….he is not cute anymore but some might say his hot!!

The video was nice and it gives you that Christmas feeling, even though we are still in October but I am guessing in November and December we will be hearing this on the radio and on our television screens along with the usually Christmas hits that come back into the charts that time of the year.

Ohh, and it was sooo obvious that somehow he would get her that dress when she was looking at the window.

Rebecca Black- Friday (Worst Song ever)

Ok, so she is autotuned all over this video. The lyrics are really plain and....(Im trying not to be too mean here) I can't with the lyrics. "IT'S FRIDAY, FRIDAY." Really now. The video is a mess. Theres that silly little calender thing which looks really cheap....then she gets ready for school, (which she never goes to)and during takes some zit comes on her face and then she is waiting for a bus but her friends who looked like they were 12 years old were driving....Then...Then some old guy comes out of no-where and started rapping...which was bad to it's own.

She looked so uncomfortable throughout the whole video... This has to be the worst video I have seen in a long time and in a week it has had 10 million views....I don't know if this is good or bad thing...Maybe she is the female version of Justin bieber who knows only time will tell but atleast Justin had talent and could sing..

Thats what makes me sad when anyone can be an artist these days. They don't even need to have talent. Yes, I'm gonna be a singer but I can't sing. You know you're bad if autotune can't even make you sound good.

It's like a surgeon saying...well I don't know anything about medicine or surgery but I am going to do an operation on you anyways....
