Gossip Girl review season 1 to 6 (Dair) (spoilers)

I know I am soooooo late but this year I decided to try gossip girl and I completely fell in love with it, I loved all the characters, I loved the stories, every episode, every season. I was drawn in. I loved the high school feel of the show and even when they left high school it was still very good.

After months of watching the show it has finally ended, I know who gossip girl is, but to me the fact that Dan was gossip girl it didn't really shock me as much as the fact that Kristen Bell being the voice of gossip girl. I loved her in Veronica mars, I feel like I fell in love with her voice. XOXO gossip girl. and I will miss it.

Let me talk about the relationships, I can start with Dan and Serena. The first season, I loved them together. I loved Serena and her efforts to change her self from being someone who drank alot and partied hard. She wanted to be better and Dan helped her with that. After they broke up, they both dated a lot of other people and honestly all the way up to season 4, I still couldn't see them ending up with anyone else. Until Dan and Blair happened. I did kinda see it coming from season three. but I didn't think the writers would actually do it because Chuck and Blair where this epic love.

Before I even saw this show, I had seen comments saying chuck and Blair, so I knew they were THE couple and I did like them, they were for the most part the only couple that stayed together throughout the show. Even though Blair was with a few people and so was Chuck you always knew that they would be back together. But their relationship was quite toxic, they really didn't have that much in common, it was just the extraness of the love and a lot of excuses. I think in total they were only together for some of season 2 and that was it.

The biggest surprise for me is how much I loved Dan and Blairs relationship. I feel like I love the hate to love trope in couples. They hated each other, they were not even friends but seeing them go from not liking each other to secretly going to the movies, becoming friends. Seeing how much Dan cared and loved Blair to me was beautiful because before that like Nate and all other characters, he jumped from one relationship to another but with Blair even though he knew his chances of having her were slim he still waited, his heart still longed to be with her. To protect her.

And he was always there for her with the whole prince mess that went on. Plus, when Blair finally, accepted her feelings, it was so beautiful to watch because Dan made her happy, he was there by her side to support her. She grew to be more independent, to find that Blair happiness that was lost before she was with him and it was nice to watch. They did normal relationship stuff, they spent all night talking to each other.

Also, I do have to say I loved their witty banter, I also loved the first time they did it and it was awful. I laughed so hard and then that elevator scene. Chileeeeee I replayed that scene so many times. When they kissed the way Dan looked at her, it was desire, the way he held her so gently. Their height difference was so beautiful. (im not going to lie until these two got together I didn't notice how short Chuck was or how tall Serena was)

But yes, their height difference was so perfect, that elevator scene were Dan lifted Blair up like she was a feather, I was like woahhhhh. That was hot! Their chemistry was fire.

I knew though that they wouldn't last because Blair and Chuck were the writers end game couple. Their break-up to me seemed forced. Again Blair has to choose another guy or Chuck and of course she always picks Chuck. And Dan sleeps with Serena at the same place she slept with Nate. I feel as though they had to make Dan cheat on Blair so that it looks as though it's even that Blair chose Chuck again and she's not the bad guy.

Season 6 was more about trying to turn Dan into this evil bad guy and Chuck into a good guy even though he ended up basically killing his father and got away with it. Even when Blair and Chuck got back together or she waited for him for 9 episodes, it didn't feel the same. Even when they spoke there wasn't any substance it was either about scheming, Chuck taking his father down, professing their love but there were never any deep conversations like when Blair was with Dan and even their kisses, they weren't as passionate for me, like for Chuck it looked like his lips were closed and pressed together when he kissed her. Like when she kissed Dan she would throw her whole body onto him. It just felt more natural.

Moving on to Serena and Dan. If these two hadn't gotten together in the end, I would have been okay with it. Serena has been in love so many times and each time she always thinks his the one, a professor, or two. A married man, an ex-con. Nate and so on.

When Dan and Serena got back together, it didn't feel as though Dan really liked her as much. The way he looked at Serena wasn't as loving as the way he looked at Blair. So, when it was revealed that he was sorta doing it for his story, it made sense to me. But then the writers wanted us to believe that Serena had always been the one for him, he never lost interest in her, he had always loved her and I call Bull to that because she had confessed before and he wasn't interested at all. He loved Blair.

To me, Dan and Blair are the ultimate couple of Gossip Girl and I enjoyed their couple very much.

Also, something that annoyed me is that the writers never really gave us an indication as to when they finished college, Serena took a semester off and never went back the rest just forgot about college and there was no mention of them graduating. It was forgotten.

But anyways, I really enjoyed the show, it's a shame I didn't watch it when it came out but at least I didn't have to wait for new episodes to come out. What am I going to do with my life now, lol. I really enjoyed the show. A wonderful gem.

Vampire Diaries season 6 premiere (Spoilers)

Vampire diaries is BACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's been a long wait, such that the recap really helped me to figure out what had happened before everything left off.

Damon and Bonnie were dead....(oh as dead as someone is on vampire diaries)

This episode was Okay, the ending was the most interesting but that was about it without putting in any spoilers.

SPOILERS BELOW...

So lets start with Elena because it was mainly about her. She is basically drugged out on some herbs which make her hallucinate Damon, which I am glad his still on the show and the side affects makes her a more thirsty which was sorf off interesting and there was a sort off touching moment when she tried, enthesis on TRY'S to let go of Damon, I kinda liked it when he just wouldn't go away. Anyways, in the end she asks Alaric to compel her to forget she ever knew Damon. Then they went to the ending were they showed Damon and Bonnie, no one really mourned Bonnie apart from Jeremy, just saying. So I am guessing Damon and Bonnie will come back somehow but Elena won't remember him and they will fall in love all over again. So does that mean Bonnie is a normal witch again and not the anchor, will see.

Stefan, what was he doing, like i thought the girl was a witch or something. I don't believe he would give up that easily. I bet you he will find find Damon and Bonnie. I did love it when he told the girl he was a vampire and she laughed it off and R.I.P that iPhone. Sad times.

Caroline was just there, like literally just there at the edge of the town.

What is Tyler doing with that blond girl, she and her brother should have just left with the season, they are irrelevant. I really did like Tyler and Caroline but she seems more interested in Stefan.

Alaric I think got too much air time, I wasn't really that sad to see him go to be honest.

I was just checking out the originals and when that is coming back and for some weird reason I am more excited about that show than this one and vampire diaries became more exciting about Klaus and the originals without them it's just Elena and Damon and that's kinda boring. I wish they could at least bring back Katherine, she was interesting.

Hopefully, the new season gets better.

New tv show: Faking it season 1 finale

So there was an advert on MTV in the UK about a new show called "faking it," so I went online and I have just finished watching the whole first season, which was only 8 episodes. The reason why I gave it a chance was because it kind off reminded me of AWKWARD when it started out except there were lesbians, which is a nice twist.

I hope what I say now isn't too offensive but to me I don't really care if you are gay or not because I think a person is more than their sexuality but on a lot of TV shows they make gay/lesbian relationships to seem so grim and it comes with a lot seriousness about coming out and all of this and to be honest its not really that entertaining to watch. e.g Teddy from 90210 like after he came out which was interesting for a couple of episodes he become the most boring character on the show.

Getting back on topic this show is entertaining, with scandal and they got the formula right and if you liked Awkward or 90210 and high school drama stuff then I guarantee you will love this show.

Watch the trailer below, after the video I will be talking about the finale and the show, there will be spoilers so you have been warned.

DON'T SCROLL DOWN IF YOU HAVEN'T SEEN THE FINALE!!

Okay, i don't know where to start lets talk about the characters. Karma first, I like her and I don't hate her and I think she's just a normal girl and I have to say she has one of the worst crying faces I have seen in a while. I don't really know what to say about her. The name is original, props to the writers and it was a different twist of extremes with her hippy parents.

Moving on to Amy, I love her, there is something about her that is so like-able or maybe it's on season 6 when she kissed Liam. Like I felt that chemistry; there was a spark there that wasn't there with Amy/Karma or Karma/Liam. It's like a forbidden fruit because their so good together but she likes girls.

After that glimpse of something special they had to almost give me a heart attack, the SHOCK, GASP, HAND ON MOUTH, EYES WIDE OPEN with that season finale with Amy and Liam, like ohmygoshhh, (I can't breathe,i need to see that scene again...........

I'm back and F**k that scene, that scene was.........wow.

I just don't have words to describe it. I haven't been this excited about a show in a looong time and I just feel like their chemistry, the song is just too good. I am rooting for them, forget Karma, Karma who??

Lets move on to Liam, first and foremost I knew I recognized his face from somewhere but I couldn't put my finger on it and so I googled it and he was in wizard of waverly place. He was the wolf going out with Selena Gomez I think. So to clear that one up.

On to important business, his cute and he fits the role of the hot guy in high school. I did feel like the plot of the hottest guy in school who sleeps all the hottest girls and then for some reason falls in love with that girl was a bit overdone but I can excuse it because the whole lesbian and Amy thing was well worth it. To be fair I sort off liked him with Karma as well but something with Amy was just amazing.

I just want to say was I the only one annoyed with the censoring, not really annoyed that they censored the words but that they actually said them, I guess it was to set the scene, all teenagers swear as it was also a little bit explicit with the scenes. e.g the threesome even though nothing but kissing happened in the end or the talk about extra curriculum activities (wink wink) that they might be partaking in.

Finally, lets dish on Lauren and Shane. For the first time I actually don't like nor care about the mean girl. Like the original mean girl Regina George, for some reason you love her. She's amazing and Lauren is just blahh. Shane, I like him, his not too camp that his annoying but he still is sort-off. I think they got a good mixture. I was wondering when they were going to have the guys kissing and it had to be before the big you-know-what. Very smart, indeed sir.

I love the season and it will be interesting to see where this will go and if they can keep it up because a lot of shows can't. I honestly don't want to be disappointed, it's rare now a days find a good new show. Good one MTV.

Drop dead diva season 5 premiere review (SPOILERSS)

Yayy, drop dead diva is back, it was cancelled and petitions went out and they actually listened and now it's back. I love lifetime for that. It was one of my fave shows on that channel including the client list now.

Season 4 ended with Grayson and Jane kissing and Owen dying and supposedly old Jane hitting the rewind button and coming back. When it left of they made it look like old Jane was Owen.

Moving to the premiere, it would have been very weird if Owen was old Jane and it wouldn't be really interesting. Also Owen is fine and I don't know if him and Jane will get back together or if it's over. I really don't have a clue what will happen there.

Grayson is still madly in love with Jane, yay. But now Jane is saying she wants Owen and Grayson was looking extra hot in this episode so I don't know what will happen with them two; I do hope that they get together. It's five seasons now. Come on.

The episode ends with old Jane in a hot body with blond hair and she looks like what Deb looked like and my guess is that she tries to get Grayson, I can see that happening. Will see.

The second angel guardian is gone, I don't even know his name, that's how bad he was. He was good-looking but he didn't have the charm that Fred had. Fred was so cute and funny and the second one was like I'm MR.serious and rich and it was meh...

But Paul the new guardian was on 90210 and I liked him a little but he was Naomi's new love interest and Max had that rapped up so, it was a lose, lose. Anyways, I actually liked him in this episode, I thought he was funny and is there more of a comical character and it will be interesting to see him in more episodes.

I enjoyed the episode, It was good and I'm glad it's back. Will see how the season goes...

Dark Girls Documentary review

I have just finished watching the doc and as a black girl in the uk I just felt like it was a pity party like poor me. I don't think this documentary did anything and will change anything. Thinking that it was made years ago. I think it could have been better but the subject hasn't been touched on before but it was decent attempt.

I live in the uk and for me I would say that growing up I didn't experience the light/dark situation. Maybe it was because at school there was a diverse group of people and race was never really a big thing. I loved my skin and I was happy to be black and I didn't look at anyone differently.

When I went to university though I lived with two light-skinned girls and one of them she went on and on about being light-skinned and somehow the topic of skin colour always came about and to me it didn't matter because I don't judge someone because of their skin but if their nice or nasty. But to her skin/looks were her best feature and I thought that was sad.

Back to the documentary. They talked about being called ugly and black women have the highest low self-esteem and it makes me sad. They talked about men on women and a lot of men said they wouldn't date a dark skinned girl and some said they like dark skinned girls and so on. Then women on men and how they were treated differently by other races and white guys and all that.

Then the media, I think rappers, singers, sports stars if you look at most of the black men they will either have a white blond hair with blue eyes girl or a light-skinned girl and if I had grown up admiring all these stars and they don't even like what I look like I might hated myself but to me, I don't care about a rapper I am never going to meet and you have to love yourself.

God made you the way you are and we all have two choices one is to cry and throw a pity party and say poor me I am dark and everyone hates my skin. Chris brown isn't dating any dark skinned girlss...ohmygosh, im dying....

ORRR, you can accept yourself and do you, be coinfedent in your skin and rock it. I think the most attractive thing in anyone is confidence. If you think....no if you KNOW that you are beautiful and you act like it then who gives an F what anyone else thinks. Trust me if you act and dress like you are the Shizz then everyone else around is going to think so too.

I want to offer up an example, Mercy Johnson.

She is a Nigerian actress who as some might say is dark skinned, ohmygoshh BUTTT, the confidence that this woman radiants is unbelievable that sometimes she even puts Beyoncé to shame (and I love Beyoncé).

She is an amazing actress, married to a prince and just had her first child, I don't think she's crying poor me right now....It's just about loving yourself.

The Client List - Season 2 Finale Review

I haven't done a show review in a while, I am in love with the client list, it stars Jennifer love Hewett who I knew from ghost whisperer. But I tried this show out because of her and I was really surprised that I enjoyed it. I saw the double bill season finale today. And I have a lot to write about.
..woop woop.

Or not, basically these two episodes erms, let's talk about Lacey and her baby trouble...She and her husband lost a baby and are going into the abortion way and there's this teenage girl who wants them to have her baby and their at this scanning and the father comes and says we can do this don't give the baby up. In the end she decides that she wants her child to have a loving family she never had. Me personally, I could never give up my baby but I wouldn't be that stupid to get pregnant without a lot of things but that's another story. I am glad that she gave the baby to them and I was happy for them.

Let's talk about Evan, this season he kind-off gets forgotten and I think he will always love Riley but he can never have her. But it's for the best because your brother's wife is a bit messed up.

I actually like Kyle now and their chemistry is amazing and he is trying to change. I hope she tells them the truth, because I think the truth will set her free and she can trust them both because they love her...

The season ends in a cliff hanger with the rub burning and((Carle)) don't know the spelling, still inside when it explodes...I think when the season 3 comes that the rub will be back, re-built and her secret will finally come out.

It was very interesting and entertaining...I am 95% sure that they will be a season 3 and I can't wait for that.

The vampire diaries Season 4 finale-Review (SPOILERS)

O, my...gosh....My mouth was like this :O

It's the season finale of the vampire diaries and this post will have spoilers, you have been warned...

The beginning of season 4 was amazing, every episode I was left shocked and wanting more, that's why I love vampire diaries but I don't know if it was just me but after the Christmas break the quality and story lines just dropped. Another thing was I started to hate Elena, like it was too much.

Anyways, in the last episode it's all about the cure and Silas, Bonnie dying and ghosts. Let me start with the love triangle. I ship for Delena and it was cheesy but I was happy when she chose Damon...It wouldn't have been right if it went any other way and the sire bond was not needed.

However, I do feel sorry Stephen, I liked him with Elena but Delena had more chemistry. I was hoping for him and Caroline but that would to obvious and a little too much. Next season they should bring someone new or, or he falls for Katherine. Hmm, I bet that’s what their going to do. Imagine that.

Speaking of Katherine, she is a human...That was a twist, apparently, in the book it's Damon who takes the cure and honestly, I wouldn't like Damon as a human. No, just no. If Elena had taken the cure that would have been boring because it would be like going two seasons backwards. Stephen is understandable why he should take it but boring aswell. I think Katherine will be interesting too see if they will revenge her or Elena might just kill her then because can't she just re-vamp again or does the cure not involve that. Will see.

Bonnie dies and brings Jeremy back to life. Who here knows that she will be back alive by the end of season 5. I think it's good she's dead because she was soo powerful that she was un-touchable and that becomes boring. Lets kill this horrible monster, Bonnie, creates fire and bleeds on her nose and his dead. It would have gotten boring. But will see, hope she comes back. Wow, I have said boring a lot.

Klaus and Caroline, I liked them together...I love Klaus and hopefully, he pops in and out of vampire diaries because I saw the pilot episode of his new spin off show and honestly, it wasn't great. I will watch the show when it fully comes out but I just hope it gets better. Tyler will probably be coming back and I don't hate him but I like the horrible murderous Klaus more...so wrong, lol.

Oii, do you remember me at prom when I beat up Damon!!
Silas, I don't like this storyline and with the finale Stephen is Silas's double ganger and his Silas's "Shadow," that came out of nowhere. Then he dropped him in the water in a safe. Like really...but I was shocked and I don't even know what to say. If they do it right, it will very interesting to see what happens. I honestly loved in season 3 when Stephen was horrible...That was interesting so I have faith that it will be something to watch. I give them one episode until they realise that, Silas is not Stephen, probably, Damon will figure it out.

Great finale, cannot wait for another season.
