The vampire diaries Season 4 finale-Review (SPOILERS)

O, my...gosh....My mouth was like this :O

It's the season finale of the vampire diaries and this post will have spoilers, you have been warned...

The beginning of season 4 was amazing, every episode I was left shocked and wanting more, that's why I love vampire diaries but I don't know if it was just me but after the Christmas break the quality and story lines just dropped. Another thing was I started to hate Elena, like it was too much.

Anyways, in the last episode it's all about the cure and Silas, Bonnie dying and ghosts. Let me start with the love triangle. I ship for Delena and it was cheesy but I was happy when she chose Damon...It wouldn't have been right if it went any other way and the sire bond was not needed.

However, I do feel sorry Stephen, I liked him with Elena but Delena had more chemistry. I was hoping for him and Caroline but that would to obvious and a little too much. Next season they should bring someone new or, or he falls for Katherine. Hmm, I bet that’s what their going to do. Imagine that.

Speaking of Katherine, she is a human...That was a twist, apparently, in the book it's Damon who takes the cure and honestly, I wouldn't like Damon as a human. No, just no. If Elena had taken the cure that would have been boring because it would be like going two seasons backwards. Stephen is understandable why he should take it but boring aswell. I think Katherine will be interesting too see if they will revenge her or Elena might just kill her then because can't she just re-vamp again or does the cure not involve that. Will see.

Bonnie dies and brings Jeremy back to life. Who here knows that she will be back alive by the end of season 5. I think it's good she's dead because she was soo powerful that she was un-touchable and that becomes boring. Lets kill this horrible monster, Bonnie, creates fire and bleeds on her nose and his dead. It would have gotten boring. But will see, hope she comes back. Wow, I have said boring a lot.

Klaus and Caroline, I liked them together...I love Klaus and hopefully, he pops in and out of vampire diaries because I saw the pilot episode of his new spin off show and honestly, it wasn't great. I will watch the show when it fully comes out but I just hope it gets better. Tyler will probably be coming back and I don't hate him but I like the horrible murderous Klaus more...so wrong,lol.

Oii, do you remember me at prom when I beat up Damon!!

Silas, I don't like this storyline and with the finale Stephen is Silas's double ganger and his Silas's "Shadow," that came out of nowhere. Then he dropped him in the water in a safe. Like really...but I was shocked and I don't even know what to say. If they do it right, it will very interesting to see what happens. I honestly loved in season 3 when Stephen was horrible...That was interesting so I have faith that it will be something to watch. I give them one episode until they realise that, Silas is not Stephen, probably, Damon will figure it out.

Great finale, cannot wait for another season.

The Vampire Diaries: Awakening by L.J. Smith book review

I am a huge fan of the vampire diaries the show....I would say right now it is one of the best shows on TV, for me anyways. So with season ending and being impatient to wait until the next season begins I thought I might as well read the books. So I went out and bought the awakening. 

Pro's - I will give the author props for the ideas of the story and I thought when the author went back in time with Damon, Stephan and Katharina...I quite liked that. The book was easy to read.

Con's- I originally watched the show before reading the book and in most cases the book is ten times better than the TV show or film but unfortunately in this case the TV show is miles better. 

Let's start with the characters....Firstly, I hate Elena in the book....She's the girl you hate....She's this popular, snobby, full of herself girl who wants and gets everything....I remember when I first started reading the book and I thought back to the Elena in the show....that I could relate to and to this one that had me rolling my eyes.....Stepan was annoying, I don't know why but he just seemed all over the place....I just didn't like him. I probably liked Katharina the most, because she was what Elena should have been.....I felt sorry for Matt. 

Then there was the romance between Elena and Stephan.....that was sooo rushed and forced....Elena only likes him because his the new hot thing....then Stepan trys to avoid her and then they kiss and suddenly there in love and can't live without each other....It was so quick and there was no suspense and anything....Even when she found out about him being a vampire....it was like meh.....Rushed again. I think the author focused more on things that didn't matter than the romance...

The book was slow paced, it dragged on with things that didn't really matter.....The author had good idea's but I don't think she knew how to put it on paper....There was no emotional connection with the characters, even Damon lost his spark in the book. The wording is written for children hence it's easy to read but there is no interest or yearning to carry on. Maybe that's why the TV producers changed so much. 

Would I recommend this? No, I wish I had listened to the reviews that said it wasn't as good as the show...But I didn't think it would be this bad....It's shocking how bad it is....However, I think young children or teenagers would enjoy this book...Save your money is what I would say.

The Vampire Diaries Season 3 Finale (SPOILER)

On a sad note the Vampire diaries has come to a halt with season 3 ending this week. But what a great season this has been. The vampire diaries for me are one of those shows that just blow my mind and so far have just been getting better and better. If you haven't seen the finale then I would press back because this post is just a full of spoilers.

I am going to try to sum up what has happened in the series and my favourite moments. I would have to say the originals were amazing in this season and if we look back at the beginning when Stefan was with Klaus, like that was my favourite Stefan....He was exciting when he was bad. I also loved Klaus and Caroline....more than her and Tyler.

First of all let’s start with the Elena, Damon and Stefan triangle....Honestly,  I like Damon more than Stefan but I like Stefan as well so to me whoever she chooses I wouldn't mind but I am swayed more towards Damon. In this episode they had a lot of flashbacks, which I enjoyed a lot. They were Elena still with Matt and going to school and to a bonfire night the day her parents died.

The most interesting flashback that I have seen like 5 times now is when Damon and Elena meet for the first time and this is before she meets Stefan and she asks him what does he want and he says "You want  love that consumes you, you want passion and adventure and even a little danger." Then he compels her by saying "I want you to get everything that you are looking for but right now I want you to forget everything that has happened, I don't want people to know that I am in town yet." People somehow have it confused that he compelled her to love him. I think that when she was talking to Matt and she said that with Stefan she feels......and with Damon he consumes her but also on the phone with Damon she says “now not always I choose Stefan” and she also says that "Maybe if they had met first, things would have be different."

Another storyline was Klaus, I love Klaus the bad and evil Klaus....he dies and Joseph Morgan played Klaus amazingly and the twist is that Klaus's soul is in Tyler’s body and Tyler is good being Tyler but not Klaus. I’m hoping that his soul will move on into someone else like what happened when Klaus was in Rick's body in the next season. I’m sad about Joseph; let’s hope that somehow his body was saved.

Rick is gone, am I sad? Not really that sad but then again it's another person that Elena has lost. Furthermore, we have Bonnie, she did the right thing saving Klaus because they would all have died, I did find it weird when she wanted to be alone with Klaus's body. But she saved them all and it won't take Elijah that long to find out what happened. At least now we know that Klaus's family actually love him.

The biggest explosion is Elena is now a vampire.....(anyone else get that twilight vibe when Bella turned into a vampire in breaking dawn part 1)....hmmm. I am happy she's a vampire now and this will mean that she will remember everything she might have been compelled to forget like when she met Damon first of all and I don't know if that will be enough to choose him but I think that when he compelled her it might have made Elena more prone to loving Stefan even if he wasn't the one she truly wanted.....I think that's going to be the biggest thing I will be looking forward to seeing in season 4.

Meredith is like the secret hero in this episode because if she hadn't given Elena the vampire blood she would have died and not have come back......Props to Meredith.

Overall, Season three has been amazing and it has been me want to read the books as well. Can't wait for season 4.

The Vampire's Diaries Season 3 Episode 11 Review (Spoiler Alert)

The vampire diaries have been back for two weeks but I haven’t really had the chance to write about it. This season has been crazy good and at the end each episode I was in shock and waiting for more; then they stopped showing more episodes until January, which was sad. 

Klaus is basically the driving force in this series and I have to admit that they picked the best person to play him and I can’t help but like him, he is bad, crazy and twisted in the head but that’s what makes it entertaining. These last two episodes his just been trying to get the coffin of his family back from Stefan. 

Moving on we have Damon and Elena and they have kissed and it’s like get together already. She knows she wants to. Honestly, about ten episodes ago I wanted them to get together but now I want Elena to get back with Stefan because his the bad boy now. But either way something needs to happen soon.

Stefan is crazy and honestly, I didn’t think he had it in him to outsmart Klaus and to act this bad and carefree, which I like a lot and they should take it to another level,lol. I really liked the chicken fight of bluffs he had with Klaus but I knew he would never kill her, he still loves her.

Then we have Jeremy who is leaving, I am not sure if he is leaving the show for good or he will go for an episode or two and come back a vampire or something who knows….He was getting a bit boring and in the way because the whole I can see ghosts thing wasn't really that entertaining. So it’s good his gone for a while. 

Caroline and Tyler are over, I liked them two together because it was like I can’t have you but I want you but now his got this whole I have to do everything Klaus says thing going on and that’s a problem for her so they’re not together anymore, he bites her  and she almost dies. But she doesn’t because the same man who told Tyler to bite her ends up saving her life and then leaves her a bracelet. My first instinct is that because Klaus has saved Caroline’s life she will also have to do what he says but some people think it could be the beginning of a romance. All I know is Klaus doesn’t do anything nice for nothing. 

 Good carry on of the series and I will be watching. Good writing and acting.
