Drop dead diva season 5 premiere review (SPOILERSS)

Yayy, drop dead diva is back, it was cancelled and petitions went out and they actually listened and now it's back. I love lifetime for that. It was one of my fave shows on that channel including the client list now.

Season 4 ended with Grayson and Jane kissing and Owen dying and supposedly old Jane hitting the rewind button and coming back. When it left of they made it look like old Jane was Owen.

Moving to the premiere, it would have been very weird if Owen was old Jane and it wouldn't be really interesting. Also Owen is fine and I don't know if him and Jane will get back together or if it's over. I really don't have a clue what will happen there.

Grayson is still madly in love with Jane, yay. But now Jane is saying she wants Owen and Grayson was looking extra hot in this episode so I don't know what will happen with them two; I do hope that they get together. It's five seasons now. Come on.

The episode ends with old Jane in a hot body with blond hair and she looks like what Deb looked like and my guess is that she tries to get Grayson, I can see that happening. Will see.

The second angel guardian is gone, I don't even know his name, that's how bad he was. He was good-looking but he didn't have the charm that Fred had. Fred was so cute and funny and the second one was like I'm MR.serious and rich and it was meh...

But Paul the new guardian was on 90210 and I liked him a little but he was Naomi's new love interest and Max had that rapped up so, it was a lose, lose. Anyways, I actually liked him in this episode, I thought he was funny and is there more of a comical character and it will be interesting to see him in more episodes.

I enjoyed the episode, It was good and I'm glad it's back. Will see how the season goes...

Dark Girls Documentary review

I have just finished watching the doc and as a black girl in the uk I just felt like it was a pity party like poor me. I don't think this documentary did anything and will change anything. Thinking that it was made years ago. I think it could have been better but the subject hasn't been touched on before but it was decent attempt.

I live in the uk and for me I would say that growing up I didn't experience the light/dark situation. Maybe it was because at school there was a diverse group of people and race was never really a big thing. I loved my skin and I was happy to be black and I didn't look at anyone differently.

When I went to university though I lived with two light-skinned girls and one of them she went on and on about being light-skinned and somehow the topic of skin colour always came about and to me it didn't matter because I don't judge someone because of their skin but if their nice or nasty. But to her skin/looks were her best feature and I thought that was sad.

Back to the documentary. They talked about being called ugly and black women have the highest low self-esteem and it makes me sad. They talked about men on women and a lot of men said they wouldn't date a dark skinned girl and some said they like dark skinned girls and so on. Then women on men and how they were treated differently by other races and white guys and all that.

Then the media, I think rappers, singers, sports stars if you look at most of the black men they will either have a white blond hair with blue eyes girl or a light-skinned girl and if I had grown up admiring all these stars and they don't even like what I look like I might hated myself but to me, I don't care about a rapper I am never going to meet and you have to love yourself.

God made you the way you are and we all have two choices one is to cry and throw a pity party and say poor me I am dark and everyone hates my skin. Chris brown isn't dating any dark skinned girlss...ohmygosh, im dying....

ORRR, you can accept yourself and do you, be coinfedent in your skin and rock it. I think the most attractive thing in anyone is confidence. If you think....no if you KNOW that you are beautiful and you act like it then who gives an F what anyone else thinks. Trust me if you act and dress like you are the Shizz then everyone else around is going to think so too.

I want to offer up an example, Mercy Johnson.

She is a Nigerian actress who as some might say is dark skinned, ohmygoshh BUTTT, the confidence that this woman radiants is unbelievable that sometimes she even puts Beyoncé to shame (and I love Beyoncé).

She is an amazing actress, married to a prince and just had her first child, I don't think she's crying poor me right now....It's just about loving yourself.

Awkward season 3x 10 mid-season review Plus trailer.

OK, OK, OK, so awkward has stopped for a bit, soo sad and they left us with a cliff-hanger... I still love this show and season 1 was about Jenna and Matt basically and Jake on the side and season two was about Jenna choosing between the two boys and in the end she choose Matty and I was team Matty all the way but I did have a soft spot for Jake.

Season three so far has been about them having problems and working them out and growing as a couple from Jenna's scare pregnancy and trust issues and Matty not liking to dance.

Ok, let's talk about Tamara and Jake....

I honestly, don't see the relevance of this couple, I don't feel anything, I don't know if it's because it's Tamara or that I secretly wish Jake was still in love with Jenna. I just don't feel anything...

Saddie, she needs a man or something....Like if she got with Matty now that would be fire...She wasn't really that horrible or given had that much air time. I like Sadie and hopefully we see a lot more or her.

Ming had her own little drama going on with the Chinese Mafia, lool. I actually enjoyed her problems with Freddy Woo and all that and I am loving her new hairstyle in the trailer...That will be fun to see.

Matty, oh Matty...I feel bad for him because in this season, I don't know how or why but he just doesn't look as hot as he did in the first two season his just lacking but he is trying with Jenna and I just think that Jenna will never be truly happy with him. And what he said in the car that he was embarrassed with her and he lied. Even that hurt me, I felt that because he was always staring at her and sniffing his armpits and all that but heyyy, you never really know what a person's thinking cos to him she was acting like a crazy person.

Ok, the big one. Collin, oh my....like his justt. Wow.

OK, seriously, Collin is on another level like Matty, Jake are kids play compared to Collin. I think with Collin it is more chemistry and they have a lot in common and this time she didn't rush into it like with Matty because that was a mess. But she knows he actually likes her before she did anything and the chemistry is amazing.
In the trailer Jenna is like a pothead and clearly she breaks-up with Matty and I don't know if it will be a new love triangle or she will just be Collin's girl and she loses all her friends. I think what will happen is in the end Collin will end it and maybe go back with his girlfriend and Jenna comes to her senses and everyone forgives her.

Will see, I for one cannot wait until fall.

The vincent brothers- Abbi Glines - Book review

RATE:★★★★
Pages:304
Author: Abbi Glines
Published: June 2012

I actually really enjoyed reading this book. It's an easy read and from the first page you are hooked to the story. I thought when I read the ending of the first book that I wouldn't like Lana but this book was sweeter and calm than the first book that was anger, hotness...steamy.

Let me just talk about these two and get it over with. Ashton, who was the main girl between Sawyer and Beau in the first book and I thought she was alright and Beau I thought he was alright too...I didn't really get much for them.

In this book I DISLIKED ASHTON, like she was this perfect Barbie doll and it just annoyed me. But Beau was worse because he stole his brother’s girlfriend but he got mad when Sawyer said anything or even looked at her. It was like "Don't make me beat you up," like REALLY he couldn't solve his problems without using  his fists. That's not hot, it was stupid, you steal his girlfriend, sawyer can say whatever he wants and you should just take it....

That really annoyed me, especially after reading beautiful disaster...No one beats Travis, that freaking psycho...

But also sometimes Sawyer was like that as well, maybe these authors think that's what we wanna read...Nooo.

Moving on, Lana, I really liked her that's very rare for me in these types of books but I could somewhat relate and it was really interesting to see her grow a little bit and I thought it was really fun and enjoyable to read the scenes between her and Sawyer.

About Sawyer, in the first book we didn't really get to see him as much but actually had a little bit of an image of him and I liked him a lot more than Beau and he made mistakes and slowly learnt from it. What I also liked about this book was it wasn't too much of him still being mad about Ashton and the relationship happened slowly but perfectly.

The ending, I am not going to ruin it but for me I thought that it was Cheesy and I didn't like it. It was too much for me and not realistic at all.

But I give Abbi props, on her writing skills because some of those scenes were, WOAHHH. That's all I’m going to say.

I honestly, enjoyed this book, I had to force myself to put it down and I still finished it very quickly, the writing just flowed from page to page. There were no twists and ohmygosh moments but it was just one of those books you just enjoyed reading page by page.

The Client List - Season 2 Finale Review

I haven't done a show review in a while, I am in love with the client list, it stars Jennifer love Hewett who I knew from ghost whisperer. But I tried this show out because of her and I was really surprised that I enjoyed it. I saw the double bill season finale today. And I have a lot to write about.
..woop woop.

Or not, basically these two episodes erms, let's talk about Lacey and her baby trouble...She and her husband lost a baby and are going into the abortion way and there's this teenage girl who wants them to have her baby and their at this scanning and the father comes and says we can do this don't give the baby up. In the end she decides that she wants her child to have a loving family she never had. Me personally, I could never give up my baby but I wouldn't be that stupid to get pregnant without a lot of things but that's another story. I am glad that she gave the baby to them and I was happy for them.

Let's talk about Evan, this season he kind-off gets forgotten and I think he will always love Riley but he can never have her. But it's for the best because your brother's wife is a bit messed up.

I actually like Kyle now and their chemistry is amazing and he is trying to change. I hope she tells them the truth, because I think the truth will set her free and she can trust them both because they love her...

The season ends in a cliff hanger with the rub burning and((Carle)) don't know the spelling, still inside when it explodes...I think when the season 3 comes that the rub will be back, re-built and her secret will finally come out.

It was very interesting and entertaining...I am 95% sure that they will be a season 3 and I can't wait for that.
